Cas is a life-long New Orleanian. They are a current graduate student at the University of New Orleans studying public history. Their focus is on transgender and queer history in the south surrounding mutual aid since the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Before working on their masters, Cas had a decade long career in the film industry. They currently chair the Archives Project’s Oral History Committee.
