Grand Opening of New Exhibit Space is April 11
We are excited about the upcoming Grand Opening of our new Queer History Exhibit space! Pictured above is our board president, Guy LaMothe, working hard preparing the space and installing the exhibit. We hope you can join us on Saturday, April 11, for the Grand Opening. We will gather at 3:00 p.m. at 318 N. Rampart St. in New Orleans (Mardi Gras Museum of Costumes & Culture) for a reception. At 3:30 p.m. we will second-line around the block to the new space for a ribbon-cutting ceremony (311 Burgundy St.). Come join us as we get our history out of the closet!

Service-Learning Student of the Month
Pictured above is Mary, an undergraduate at Tulane University, who is one of our Service-Learning students this semester. Mary is scanning old issues of Newsline, the newsletter of the NO / AIDS Task Force. The entire run of the newsletter will eventually be available in the HIV / AIDS gallery on our website. Our new space is not only an exhibit, but also a digitization center for the backlog of materials which will eventually be uploaded on our website.

Become a Sustaining Member
Preserving our history costs money and to that end we are launching a new fundraising campaign focused on recurring monthly donations. We hope you will join one of our Sustaining Member Circles. Giving is easy here.
